Soft, flame-free scent for any room - our wax melts are handmade in small batches in our Lyall Bay studio in Wellington, and made to fill your home with fragrance the easy way. Drop a cube or two into a wax warmer, let the gentle heat do the rest, and enjoy hours of scent with no wick to trim and no flame to watch.

Every melt is poured from natural soy wax - plant-based, clean-melting, and 100% vegan like everything we make. Browse by what suits you: naturally scented melts made with pure essential oils, everyday fragrance melts in notes you can't get from a plant - think bakery, fruity and fresh - and designer-inspired dupes if you'd like your favourite fine-fragrance notes drifting through the house.

Wax melts pair beautifully with the rest of our home fragrance range. Layer one with a reed diffuser for scent that's always on, keep a room spray handy for a quick refresh, or make your own melts and candles with our fragrance oils. However you scent your space, it's made by hand, made with heart - and tested on Shannon first, never on animals. Rest, relax, refresh.

Wax melt questions

How do I use wax melts?

Pop one or two cubes into the dish of a wax warmer - either an electric one or one with a tealight underneath - and the gentle heat melts the wax and releases the scent. No flame touches the wax itself, so there's nothing to burn down. Easy, and no wick to fuss with.

How long does one melt last?

You'll usually get several hours of good scent from a cube or two, and often a few sessions before the fragrance fades. Stronger, sweeter scents tend to last longest. Once a melt stops smelling of much, it's spent.

What wax do you use?

Soy wax - a natural, plant-based wax that melts cleanly and holds scent beautifully, and it's 100% vegan like everything we make. No paraffin, no animal-derived ingredients. Handmade in small batches in our Lyall Bay studio.

When do I change the wax?

Swap it out once the scent has faded - the wax doesn't disappear, so you're changing it for fresh fragrance, not because it's "used up." Let it cool and harden, then pop the old cube out and drop in a new one. A cotton pad lifts warm wax out easily if you're in a hurry.

Are they safe around pets and children?

The melt itself sits in a warmer that gets hot, so keep warmers up out of reach of pets and little ones, and never leave an open flame unattended if you're using a tealight burner. Strong scent can bother some animals, so give them a room they can leave. Store spare melts somewhere they won't be mistaken for a treat.

Can I visit the studio?

You're welcome to and we'd love to meet you! Our Lyall Bay studio is open Tuesday to Saturday, 10am to 4pm, and we're happy to open by appointment outside those hours if that suits you better. Come and have a smell in person; it's the best way to choose. Just flick us a message if you'd like to arrange a time outside our usual hours.

Are your products really made in New Zealand?

Yes! Everything is handcrafted in small batches in our studio in Lyall Bay, Wellington. It's a genuine Kiwi maker business, not drop-shipped or mass-produced, and every product is 100% vegan and cruelty-free. Tested on Shannon first, never on animals.

What's your returns policy?

We accept returns within 30 days on unopened items in their original condition - just get in touch and we'll sort it. For hygiene reasons, opened fragrance and skincare can't be returned unless they've arrived faulty or damaged, in which case we'll always make it right. If anything's not as it should be, tell us and we'll fix it.

How much is shipping and how fast is it?

We offer free shipping on orders over $125, with flat-rate delivery under that. Orders are dispatched within one to two business days - same day if you order before 12pm - and then it's in NZ Post's hands from there. You'll get tracking so you can follow it to your door.
