Our perfume oils are fragrance made to be worn close to the skin - rolled on rather than sprayed, in a base of organic coconut oil rather than alcohol. They go on gently, settle quickly, and last well through the day, which makes them a lovely option if alcohol sprays leave your skin feeling dry or read a little sharp on first application. If you'd still like a traditional spritz, the same scents come as alcohol-based perfume sprays.
The range covers two things at once: designer-inspired dupes that capture the character of scents you already love, and our own original blends you won't find anywhere else. Every one is matched and mixed by hand in our Lyall Bay studio in Wellington, and every one is 100% vegan and cruelty-free - tested on Shannon first, never on animals.
Not sure where to start? Use the Scent type filter to sort designer-inspired from our originals, then roll your choice onto warm pulse points - wrists, neck, the inner elbow. A little unscented lotion first helps the scent hold, and it's worth not rubbing your wrists together, which bruises a fragrance rather than spreading it.

Perfume oil questions
What's a perfume oil, and how's it different from a spray?
A perfume oil is a scent worn on the skin in an organic coconut oil base rather than an alcohol spray. Oils tend to sit closer to the skin, last well, and feel a little softer and warmer than a spray. It's a lovely, low-key way to wear fragrance.
How do I apply it to make it last?
Roll or dab it onto warm pulse points - wrists, neck, inner elbows - where your body heat lifts the scent. Moisturised skin holds fragrance longer, so a little unscented lotion first helps. Don't rub your wrists together; it bruises the scent.
Are these the same as the designer originals?
They're designer-inspired - carefully matched to capture the character of a well-known scent, not the original product itself. We're upfront about that: you're getting a beautiful interpretation at an honest price, not a counterfeit. Every scent stands on its own, and we think they smell fantastic.
Are they alcohol-free?
Yes - perfume oils are organic coconut oil-based rather than alcohol-based, which suits people who find alcohol sprays drying or a bit sharp on application. They go on smoothly and settle quickly. If you prefer a traditional spritz, our perfume sprays are the alcohol-based option.
Are they vegan and cruelty-free?
Absolutely - 100% vegan and never tested on animals, like everything we make. Tested on Shannon first, and only ever on Shannon.
Can I visit the studio?
You're welcome to and we'd love to meet you! Our Lyall Bay studio is open Tuesday to Saturday, 10am to 4pm, and we're happy to open by appointment outside those hours if that suits you better. Come and have a smell in person; it's the best way to choose. Just flick us a message if you'd like to arrange a time outside our usual hours.
Are your products really made in New Zealand?
Yes! Everything is handcrafted in small batches in our studio in Lyall Bay, Wellington. It's a genuine Kiwi maker business, not drop-shipped or mass-produced, and every product is 100% vegan and cruelty-free. Tested on Shannon first, never on animals.
What's your returns policy?
We accept returns within 30 days on unopened items in their original condition - just get in touch and we'll sort it. For hygiene reasons, opened fragrance and skincare can't be returned unless they've arrived faulty or damaged, in which case we'll always make it right. If anything's not as it should be, tell us and we'll fix it.
How much is shipping and how fast is it?
We offer free shipping on orders over $125, with flat-rate delivery under that. Orders are dispatched within one to two business days - same day if you order before 12pm - and then it's in NZ Post's hands from there. You'll get tracking so you can follow it to your door.
