Natural scents to ease a tense head

Some days the tension settles right behind your eyes. Our Head & Tension range brings together the natural aromatherapy oils traditionally reached for when your head feels tight and heavy - cooling peppermint, soothing lavender, and clarifying eucalyptus, chosen for that fresh, easing sensation.

They're easy to work into a rough afternoon. A pre-diluted roller blend is the handiest option - roll a little across your temples, the back of your neck and your wrists, and breathe slowly. You can also diffuse the same scents at home, or keep a bottle of single essential oils on hand to dilute your own. Our balanced essential oil blends pair these oils for you, so there's no mixing involved.

A gentle note: these are aromatherapy products, not treatments - if headaches are frequent or severe, please see your doctor. Everything is handmade in small batches in our Lyall Bay studio, 100% vegan and cruelty-free - tested on Shannon first, never on animals. Rest, relax, refresh.

Common questions

Can I visit the studio?
You're welcome to and we'd love to meet you! Our Lyall Bay studio is open Tuesday to Saturday, 10am to 4pm, and we're happy to open by appointment outside those hours if that suits you better. Come and have a smell in person; it's the best way to choose. Just flick us a message if you'd like to arrange a time outside our usual hours.
Are your products really made in New Zealand?
Yes! Everything is handcrafted in small batches in our studio in Lyall Bay, Wellington. It's a genuine Kiwi maker business, not drop-shipped or mass-produced, and every product is 100% vegan and cruelty-free. Tested on Shannon first, never on animals.
What's your returns policy?
We accept returns within 30 days on unopened items in their original condition - just get in touch and we'll sort it. For hygiene reasons, opened fragrance and skincare can't be returned unless they've arrived faulty or damaged, in which case we'll always make it right. If anything's not as it should be, tell us and we'll fix it.
How much is shipping and how fast is it?
We offer free shipping on orders over $125, with flat-rate delivery under that. Orders are dispatched within one to two business days - same day if you order before 12pm - and then it's in NZ Post's hands from there. You'll get tracking so you can follow it to your door.
