Insect repellent: Citronella essential oil is widely known and used as an effective insect repellent, making it a valuable companion during holidays. To keep pesky bugs away, bring along a tissue infused with citronella.
Freshens and clears the air: Citronella possesses antiseptic properties that are beneficial for purifying the air and combating viruses. This makes it particularly helpful during the cold and flu season or when freshening the air in a sickroom. Its antiseptic qualities make it a valuable component in deodorants as well.

For a subtle scent, add 3-5 drops of Citronella essential oil to room-temperature water in your oil diffuser or oil burner. For an intense aroma, simply increase the number of drops you use.
